Lottery Funding

The Princes Trust was awarded £484,319 from the Big Lottery Fund's Reaching Out: Empowering Young People programme to run the Get Started programmes which will aim to improve the self esteem, confidence, education and job opportunities.

TWO voluntary organisations have been given £10,000 each by the Big Lottery Fund under the Awards for All scheme. Mental health charity Mind Your Head will use its grant for a number of projects and events.

Fitness sessions, health advice and play equipment are among projects being funded with £100,000 of lottery cash. Twelve organisations have received grants of up to £10,000 in the latest round of Awards for All funding, announced by the Big Lottery Fund.

Young adults with learning disabilities and adults with addiction issues will benefit from almost £1.5 million in grants awarded today from The Big Lottery Fund.

A SERVICE which helps Inverclyde adults with addiction problems turn their lives around has been awarded nearly £700,000 from The Big Lottery Fund Scotland. Moving On Inverclyde's 'SmartStart' project will receive around £689,000.

Local community groups receive Big Lottery Fund grants. The four Dungannon groups have been awarded grants totalling over £34,000 from the Big Lottery Fund's Energy Efficient Venues programme. The programme offers Lottery cash to local groups to carry out improvements to their community venues.

Lottery grant to help mums who have post-natal depression. The £6,023 funding will also pay for new IT equipment and the development of the website to meet an increase in demand. The grant is just one of 70 that have been awarded to projects across the East Midlands today through the Big Lottery Fund's grants.

NEARLY £400000 in grants has been awarded to community groups across the North East.

A new Scheme has been launched to help charities recruit investment professionals as Charity trustees.

A Kidderminster law firm will be raising cash for an eye charity that supports blind and partially sighted people.
MFG solicitors will be collecting funds for Sight Concern by offering discounted will-writing from October 8th to 19th 2012.
The Birmingham Road based law firm raised more than £6,000 for the charity in May.
