Local Sainsbury’s stores are currently taking votes in a search for their local charity of the year they will be supporting and raising funds for over the next 12 months.
Its Local Charity Partner scheme, now in its fourth year, is seeking other good causes to support.
Vote for a local charity partner for Penge, Greater London Sainsbury's Local.
Vote for a local charity partner for the Buckhurst Place, Bexhill store as Sainsbury's are asking customers and colleagues to put forward the names of charities based in Bexhill that are important to them. From now until Wednesday, May 23, customers can vote for their favourite local charity.
Vote for a local charity partner for the Mildenhall Sainsbury's store. Customers visiting the Mildenhall branch of Sainsbury's can now vote on who the store's new charity partner should be. Shoppers have until May 23 to drop off their nomination forms at the Recreation Way store.
Sainsbury's is urging people in Bury St Edmunds to nominate a local charity most deserving of its fund-raising efforts. The store, in Bedingfield Way, Moreton Hall, is re-launching its Local Charity Partner scheme and is looking for a new local charity to raise funds for.

Sainsbury’s in Talbot Heath, Bournemouth is asking their customers and staff to put forward the names of different charities that are important to them, which can be voted for in the store until May 23 2012. The chosen charity will be the store's Charity of the Year.

Sainsbury’s in Rodgers Quay, Carrickfergus is asking their customers and staff to put forward the names of different charities that are important to them, which can be voted for in the store until May 23 2012. The chosen charity will be the store's Charity of the Year.

Sainsbury's Bourne Local in Exeter Street is choosing a charity as part of its Local Charity of the Year Partner scheme and customers can vote for the favourite local charity in the shop, until May 23 2012. The winning charity will be announced in June and will receive a year's worth of fundraising.

Sainsbury's at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre is also on the lookout for a new Local Charity Partner.
As are Sainsbury's Gosforth and Sainsbury's Wigtownshire, Newton Stewart. 

Staff at Norwich law firm Mills & Reeve has selected St Martins Housing Trust as their Charity of the Year.
Dementia patients will benefit from the support of a Liverpool-based social landlord over the next 2 years.
Riverside has chosen the Alzheimer's Society as its corporate charity and will support its work through fundraising activities during the period.
Staff at Riverside voted for their favourite charity in a poll across the organisation. Riverside previously raised more than £30,000 for Water Aid as its chosen charity partner over the past 3 years.

Local charity Pathways 4 All has been named Charity of the Year for 2012 by local repairs and maintenance provider, Kier North Tyneside. Pathways 4 All is a registered charity providing social activities and events for children with disabilities.
