Lottery Funding



The Elthorne Estate will be the only Islington area awarded funding under the Big Lottery Fund's Big Local Programme. The money will be paid over 10 years.





The Big Society Network team attended an event last night to celebrate that it has been given a £7 million injection from the Big Lottery Fund (BIG).





Palfrey is one of 50 deprived areas across England to benefit from the Big Lottery Fund's Big Local programme. Hateley Heath, in Sandwell, has also been granted a cash injection.





Families in Catton Grove, to the north of the city centre, have been given a surprise early Christmas present – £1m of National Lottery cash to spend on improving their community.





Newington is set to receive at least £1 million of lottery funding as part of a national 'Big Local' initiative.

A CLUSTER of villages in the shadow of the doomed, 500-job Alcan aluminum smelter have been given a £1m funding boost.





Residents in the isolated Cumbrian village of Milburn will soon be broadening their horizons thanks to a £33,000 Big Lottery Fund award.

A grant of £9,996 was awarded from the Big Lottery Fund under the Awards for All scheme. It will fund a new group which provides a safe place in which people aged 13-18 can explore and get support with gender and sexual identity issues for a year.
