A Northampton-based mental healthcare charity has secured £52.5m of funding from Lloyds banking group, to invest in the expansion of its hospital, and to develop a new building.

HSBC is to donate £5m over 5 years in a new partnership with the Prince's Trust. Announced during an event for young unemployed people held by the charity recently, the partnership will fund the Trust's Fairbridge programme.

Voting has opened for the Scottish Premier League's fundraising weekend, which will see one charity benefit from collections at six football games in December. Supporters are being given the opportunity to choose the cause they wish to receive the donations collected.

Carlisle Fireshow crowd urged to dig deep for local charities. A charity collection is held each year. All donations go towards the Rotary Club of Carlisle South, (which donates most of its fundraising efforts to local good causes), and the Mayor’s Charity Fund, whose main beneficiaries this year are the Eden House Children’s Hospice and the Alzheimer’s Society. Last year, £6,431.79 was raised.

Big Lottery Fund Board Members appointed.

Tamworth - A helpful community scheme has secured almost £150,000 in funding to ensure it can be expanded across Tamworth. Members of the Community Café are jumping for joy after gaining £142,000 from the Big Lottery Fund over the next three years.

Beyond Youth CIC's The Ripple Effect project has been given £80,000 by the Big Lottery Fund to help expand.

Big Lottery cash will help Cumbrians grow their own food.

VILLAGERS are celebrating after being awarded £10,000 from the National Lottery to buy equipment for the village play area. Chardstock Park Trust is delighted about the award from the Big Lottery Fund which will help pay for play equipment.

An inspiring dance programme at a local healthcare trust was today given the thumbs up by Peter Wanless, Chief Executive of the Big Lottery Fund.

Kirkby's West Park set for £155000 revamp after campaigners secure funding. The project was part funded through a £49,999 grant from the Big Lottery Fund's Community Spaces Programme.

Youth projects receives £570000 of lottery funding.
The funding comes from Big Lottery Fund (BIG) small grants scheme Awards for All, which offers grants of between £300 and £10,000 to social and environmental projects that will benefit local communities.

Cash windfall for nursery project. Awarded by the Communities and Families Fund – a joint venture from the Big Lottery Fund and the Scottish Government – the cash windfall will help fund weekly drop-in sessions with guest speakers, a weekly fruit barra and cookery classes.
