Over the past 2 years Uni Baggage has donated to Shelter, Cash For Kids and Comic Relief. Uni Baggage supports charity events such as the St Andrews Charity Fashion Show among others.

A roofing company is celebrating after raising their biggest ever total for Children in Need. Employees at Paul Strank Roofing, based in Wimbledon, have raised £23,010.40 after a year-long fundraising effort.

Keighley job training organisation Confianza has also benefited from the latest round of grants from the Big Lottery Fund. ... Both grants are part of a £110, 000 payout for community groups in Bradford district from the lottery's Awards For All programme.

£612000 lottery windfall for community charities. Some 83 charities across the South West have received grants from the Big Lottery Fund (BIG) to help pay for projects. The funding comes from BIG's Awards For All programme, which offers grants of between £300 and £10,000.

Silver surfers gain IT awards. Residents at the Nehemiah UCHA's Henry Court have been taking part in basic computer skills training during a ten-week course, funded as part of a share of £136,324 from Big Lottery Fund's Reaching Communities Programme.

Portrush Community Playgroup is one of 15 groups across Northern Ireland awarded grants totalling almost £130,000 from the Big Lottery Fund's Energy Efficient Venues programme. The programme is now closed for applications.

Basingstoke MP Maria Miller was pleased to hear that the Disability Challengers Basingstoke Youthscheme has just been awarded £4,500 from the Big Lottery Fund.

Atlantic Islands Centre for Luing: biggest investment in island's history. This grant is in addition to the £754,910 already awarded by the Big Lottery Fund to build and staff the Centre, the Scottish Government's Climate Challenge Fund award of £72,256 to make the Centre energy efficient and low maintenance.

More than 100 clubs and associations across Staffordshire and the West Midlands have received a slice of the cash which is paying for an assortment of good causes. The Big Lottery Fund announced the funding in its latest round of Awards For All grants.
